Focal contour bulge is seen at the left posterolateral aspect of the peripheral zone eliciting low T2 signal intensity crossing the mid line associated with loss of definition of the overlying capsule and extension to the peri-prostatic fat. The abnormal signal is also extending to the seminal vesicles.
Case Discussion
This patient is a pathologically proven case of prostatic adenocarcinoma. The corresponding MRI stage is T3b N0 Mx.
