Minimally displaced avulsion fracture of the posterior tibial plateau at the insertion of the posterior cruciate ligament. Increased signal at the mid portion of the PCL infers partial tear. The anterior cruciate ligament is intact. Bone marrow oedema involving the intercondylar eminences and lateral tibial plateau. Lipohaemarthrosis in moderate volume. The collateral ligaments and the menisci appear intact. Medial posterior and lateral posterior corners tendons are preserved. Quadriceps tendon, patella, and patellar ligament are preserved. Popliteal fossa major vessels have normal flow-void. Mild subcutaneous oedema around the knee.
