What is the differential diagnosis of hyperdense intracranial masses on CT?
Haemorrhage, metastases (especially melanoma, choriocarcinoma), CNS lymphoma, vascular malformations, aneurysms.
What do you think the cause of this mass is?
A round hyperdense mass that enhances, including peripherally, in the peripheral parietal lobe is most likely a metastasis.
Right frontoparietal hyperdense intra-axial lesion that enhances in post contrast study. Small surrounding vasogenic oedema. No significant mass effect.
