What are the differential diagnosis of lymphocytic hypophysitis?
Pituitary adenoma; papillary type of craniopharyngioma; meningioma; pituitary deposits; other granulomatous hypophysitis as sarcoidosis and tuberculosis.
Thickening of the centralized pituitary infundibulum (measuring 0.6 mm in calibre) with more diffuse enhancement. Normal MRI appearance and enhancement of the pituitary gland. No focal lesions or abnormal enhancements or contour abnormality. No parasellar or suprasellar lesions. Normal MR appearance of the optic chiasm and cavernous sinuses.
