Multiple lesions (50-60%); solitary lesions (10-25%); direct extension from retroperitoneal adenopathy (25-30%); perinephric disease (<10%); diffuse infiltration (20%); renal sinus involvement (uncommon).
What are the common appearances of renal lymphoma on ultrasound?
On ultrasound, renal lymphoma may present as homogeneous hypoechoic/anechoic masses or diffuse nephromegaly.
Perinephric lymphomatous involvement of the left kidney (green arrow), with mild irregularity of renal contour (red arrow). A simple renal cyst is also seen (yellow arrow).
A left inguinal low attenuation lymph node is present (blue arrow).
