At the level of the transverse colon and distal of the proximal descending colon multiple air filled cysts of various size are visible in the submucosa and subserosa, which in part are confluent. Associate multiple and extramural tiny gas bubbles, in the context of the adipose tissue of the mesentery in the left below the diaphragm, adjacent the colonic segments described.
