How are they distributed in the neck?
Infrahyoid most common. Suprahyoid (20 - 25%); at the level of hyoid bone (15 - 50%); infrahyoid (25 - 65%)
Contrast enhanced CT demonstrates a large cystic lesion located anterior to the thyroid cartilage, and passing deep to the hyoid bone which it displaces. It extends somewhat laterally towards the left.
