Riedel lobe is it considered a true accessory lobe of the liver?
No, it considered an anatomical variant of the right lobe of the liver.
The liver is mildly enlarged with a prominent Riedel lobe and mild diffuse fat attenuation, no focal lesions or dilated intrahepatic biliary radicles seen.
Evidence of the previous operation in the form of midline incision, evidence of hysterectomy with a prominent vaginal stump and non-visualised right ovary.
A multiloculated cystic lesion is seen off left midline and abutting the left side of the rectum measuring about 6 x 5 cm with thin septae with no obvious soft tissue component suggestive of lefty ovarian origin for tumour marker and gynaecological correlation.
