The knee is dislocation with anterior displacement of the tibia compared to the femur. 

Case Discussion

Knee dislocations are uncommon and usually the result of high-energy trauma. Neurovascular complications are common. Knee dislocations are described with respect to tibial displacement compared to the femur with anterior dislocations being the most common.
