Large round peripherally dense (? calcified) opacity projected in the center of the skull above the orbits.
Case Discussion
The round opacity over the center of the skull was not apparent on any other view (not provided). The opacity was confirmed by the radiographer as the patient's pony tail and with the patient's hair let down, a repeat x-ray showed resolution of the opacity.
If not due to artifact, the differential diagnosis would be of a calcified meningioma.
