Case Discussion

This case demonstrates how a difference in radiographic technique can influence the appearance of a simple PA chest x-ray. Often patients are required to either 'hug' the upright board or place their limbs away from the chest. This patient, however, had both arms by his side, projecting a cannula over the lung.
