Bariatric stomach balloons are a temporary means of reducing weight by way of gastric distension (giving a constant feeling of satiety) and partial delayed gastric emptying.  In this case, the balloon seems to be impacted in the antrum causing more substantial (pathological) gastric outlet obstruction leading to vomiting.
