Large fluid and gas-filled balloon in the pyloric antrum causing obstruction to the proximal stomach by way of distension as well as fluid and food in the proximal gastric body/fundus.
Case Discussion
Bariatric stomach balloons are a temporary means of reducing weight by way of gastric distension (giving a constant feeling of satiety) and partial delayed gastric emptying. In this case, the balloon seems to be impacted in the antrum causing more substantial (pathological) gastric outlet obstruction leading to vomiting.
