Idiopathic transient osteoporosis of the hip

Discussion:

Idiopathic transient osteoporosis is a self-limiting condition that can affect other joints but is most common in the hip. The only known factor to the disease is pregnancy. Some advocate that this condition is a reversible early phase of subchondral fracture. The patient was treated conservatively and improved over the course of six weeks.
