Presentation

Background of haemachromatosis and bilateral hepatoma (path proven). Previous angiography confirmed portal vein occlusion, and not selected as transplant candidate.

This study demonstrates cavernous transformation and variceal formation as sequlae of portal vein occlusion, in this instance secondary to hepatic malignancy.
