Right hip pain. Background of rheumatoid arthritis, on steroid therapy.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

x-ray

Lytic-sclerotic change in the right femoral head, as a result of cortical sclerosis, collapse, and fragmentation.  Secondary degenerative change of the right hip joint, evidenced by subchondral acetabular sclerosis, osteophytosis, and superior migration of the femoral head.
