There is a well-defined, oblong, solid, heterogeneous echopattern mass lesion on the right side of neck anteriorly displacing as well as splaying internal jugular vein and common carotid artery. Carotid bifurcation abutts anterior aspect of cranial end of the lesion. The right vagus nerve is abutting posterior aspect of the lesion. There is no cystic area/calcification in the lesion. Lesion shows mild vascularity.
Approximate size of the lesion
- Cranio-caudal - 47 mm
- Transverse - 28 mm
- Anteroposterior - 25 mm
There were no other positive findings in rest of the neck ultrasound examination.
