Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography to investigate for common bile duct stone.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

Included here is the localizer and the coronal T2 image from magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP). These show a left lower lobe mass.

Normal caliber common bile duct, with no intraductal stone.

Prior CXR

x-ray

Well defined smooth outlined 2 cm mass abutting the chest wall in the left lower zone.

Case Discussion

Static appearances of plain radiographs of the chest dating back several years were identified on PACS.

A prior biopsy had confirmed the mass as a pulmonary hamartoma.
