What is the most common location of neuroblastic tumors?
The most common locations include the adrenal glands (35%) and paraspinal retroperitoneal ganglia (30-35%).
What are the differential diagnoses?
1. Neuroblastoma: calcification and invasion of the surrounding structures, and encasement of the large vessels. 2. Ganglioneuroma. 3. Liposarcoma: usually affect >40 years. 4. Extrarenal Wilms tumor: rare, extend to the surrounding structures.
The mass already bisected in two different containers measuring (9x6.5x6 cm) cut section faint grey-white mass nodular at periphery associated with two separate pieces of fatty tissue.
