Incidental finding on a CT scan of the head.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female

Linear calcification within the 4th ventricle extending via the foramina of Luschka. 

Case Discussion

The calcified choroid plexus at this level is termed Bochdalek's flower basket and can be mistaken for acute hemorrhage.
