The left aspect of the pituitary gland harbors a well-defined rounded hypo-enhancing lesion measuring 11x10 mm with focal bulge of the glandular contour. The optic chiasm is not compressed. The infundibulum is deviated to the right. There is no evidence of invasion of the cavernous sinuses.
Case Discussion
Typical appearance of pituitary microadenoma, demonstrating low signal against the normally-enhancing gland.
