Sternoclavicular joint posterior subluxation

Axial CT showing aberrant left sternoclavicular joint with a posteriorly subluxed proximal end of the clavicle. The proximal clavicular end is closely related to the left brachiocephalic vein (giving the limitation on non-contrast images). No abnormal edema or surrounding soft tissue swelling.
Case Discussion
The absence of abnormal soft tissue edema or swelling suggests congenital sternoclavicular joint sublaxtaion, a finding that has no relation to the patient's trauma history, rather than a traumatic injury.
