Squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue

Large enhancing oral tongue base mass arising from the right anterior half of the tongue.
The tumor invades the entire right side of the tongue from the tip to the level of circumvallate papillae.
Deep invasion of tumor to the intrinsic muscles is noted.
The tumor crosses the mid line and invades to the left side of tongue anteriorly.
Ipsilateral metastatic IB nodes and superficial to the ramus of mandible.
Case Discussion
This is a pathology proved case of well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma.
