Renal angiomyolipoma

Discussion:

Renal angiomyolipoma is considered the commonest benign renal masses. They can be seen as a sporadic finding or in association with phakomatoses such as tuberous sclerosis, Von Hippel Lindau syndrome or neurofibromatosis.

It is usually diagnosed incidentally during an abdominal ultrasound, as in this case.
