Osteochondroma - metatarsal

Diagnosis probable

Presentation

Swelling and pain at the dorsal aspect of the right foot.

Patient Data

Age: 35
Gender: Male
mri

There is well-defined osseous lesion arising from the cortex of the dorsal and proximal third portion of the third metatarsal bone.

No adjacent bursitis also is seen.

No evidence of obvious trauma is seen.

Case Discussion

This patient was referred with swelling and pain at the dorsal aspect of the foot for two months. 

Regarding the imaging findings (x-ray is not accessible), metatarsal osteochondroma is suspected.
