Lymphocele resulting from radical prostatectomy

Status post-radical prostatectomy. No evidence of local recurrence.
Oval cystic structure measuring 3.5 x 5.1 x 5.1 cm between left iliac vessels and urinary bladder, consistent with lymphocele.
Case Discussion
The patient had stress urinary incontinence and was, therefore, sent for an abdominopelvic CT, the clinical question being whether there was a mass pressing on the urinary bladder. As it turned out, the only thing pressing on it was a lymphocele on its left.
Lymphoceles are a common complication of radical lymphadenectomy.
