Diffuse hepatic steatosis with bands and geographic areas of peripheral fatty sparing. The appearances are those of pseudotumors due to the sparing. No discrete metastatic disease.

PET-CT with no evidence of metastatic disease.
Case Discussion
MRI liver has also shown no evidence of metastatic disease (not illustrated on the case).
Features of diffuse hepatic steatosis with multiple peripheral areas of focal fatty sparing can pose difficulties in assessing for underlying liver lesions such as metastasis.
