Sengstaken-Blakemore catheter passing through the hepatic shadow with a visibly inflated ballon.
Case Discussion
Surgeons found, among other injuries, a hepatic laceration that could not be primarily sutured. They then passed a Sengstaken-Blakemore tube through the laceration and inflated the balloon, successfully stopping the bleeding.
