Mass feeling in right breast.

A large well-circumscribed oval shaped inhomogeneous mass is noted at UOQ of right breast, surrounded by a thin capsule, comprising of both fat and soft-tissue densities (both radiolucent and radiodense components - "breast within a breast"  or a "slice of sausage" appearance)

Case Discussion

Typical appearance of breast hamartoma (pathology proven) which is a benign breast lesion and typically occur in women older than 35 years of age. They are typified by a "breast within a breast" appearance on mammogram.
