Presentation

Injury to right hand

Patient Data

Age: 12 years
Gender: Male

There is an expansile lytic lesion within the proximal phalynx of the right index finger. There is cortical thinning but no associated periosteal reaction. There is a pathological fracture through the lesion with minimal displacement.

Features are consistent with a benign enchondroma with a pathological fracture.
