Presentation

Knee pain, especially after exercise.

Patient Data

Age: 9 years
Gender: Female
mri

Marrow edema of the tibial tuberosity, which is mildly expanded, with low PD and T1 signal. Marrow edema extends into the anterior tibial epiphysis. Hyperintensity of the adjacent Hoffa's fat pad.
