Case Discussion

A female had undergone I&D for left breast abscess about 18 months back. Histopathology was neuropathic granulomatous mastitis. She developed recurrent episodes of discharge from the wound site. Ultrasound findings with clinical background favor the possibility of gossypiboma. The surgical sponge was removed through the track at the surgical site.
