Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy

Presentation

Arrhythmia was detected during routine medical examination.

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Male

RV ESV/BSA = 135ml/m2

RV EF = 29%

Right ventricle is dilated. Areas of local impairment of contractility are demonstrated.

The signs of initial changes in the structure of the myocardium (arrow) are determined on LGE.

The patient has a major criterion of ARVD (Dyssynchronous RV contraction and RVEDVi ≥110 mL/m2.
