The MRI sequences demonstrate a large well-defined lobulated mass of the liver (8.5x7.3x5 cm) centered on the segments VIII/V of low signal intensity on T1, high signal on T2, and T2 fat sat. The postcontrast sequences show a typical discontinuous, nodular, peripheral enhancement on arterial phase with progressive centripetal fill-in on portal venous phase and almost complete fill-in on delayed phase. On DWI it shows a high signal with mixed signal on ADC.
Other small similar nodular lesions are noted in the segments II and VII with complete fill-in on delayed phase.
