Moderate joint effusion is seen.
Bone marrow edema/bruise is present at the olecranon process, radial head, medial and lateral humeral epicondyles.
Triceps tendon tear with 14 mm tendon gap next to the insertion site on the olecranon process is seen associated with olecranon bursitis and edematous changes at surrounding soft tissue.
Case Discussion
The recent patient had a history of immobility, pain and swelling on the posterior aspect of the right elbow after trauma. MRI shows triceps brachii tendon tear.
