Cerebellopontine angle schwannoma

Seizures.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

There is a tumor in the cerebellopontine angle cistern measuring 36.9mm cephalocaudal x 25.4mm transverse x 36.1mm AP/oblique. It extends into the internal auditory canal and represents a large Schwannoma. 

Case Discussion

This large left cerebellopontine angle Schwannoma was identified in this elderly patient with no infarction. Surgical resection was successfully curative.
