Acute lower back pain. Long term steroids for asthma.

Multilevel thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures.

Case Discussion

Severe osteoporosis secondary to long term steroid administration for chronic asthma.

Appearance mimics the "rugger jersey" spine appearance of renal osteodystrophy.
