Abnormal increased fluid signal and fibers discontinuity at the brachialis muscle belly is related to brachialis muscle rupture.
Elbow joint effusion.
Bone marrow edema/bruise at the capitellum and radial head and neck.
Case Discussion
Brachialis muscle rupture is rare and mimics the other types of elbow injuries such as biceps tendon ruptures. MRI is the method of choice in evaluating of brachialis muscle rupture.
