The MRI sequences demonstrate:
- mild flattening of the posterior sclera
- tortuosity of both optic nerves
- enlarged subarachnoid spaces around the optic nerves
- enlarged Meckel cave bilaterally
- partially empty sella turcica
Case Discussion
MRI features of idiopathic intracranial hypertension in patient with right-sided facial spasm. This association was already described in the literature 1, 2, and recently called idiopathic intracranial idiopathic (IIH) - spasm syndrome 1.
