Presentation

Painful lateral aspect of the left foot after waking from a post night out sleep.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

Thin lucent line at the base of the 5th metatarsal.

No other bony abnormality.

Case Discussion

Subtle fracture of the base of the 5th.  Regardless of the clinical information, this is a review site when reporting foot films.
