Presentation

Traumatic injury to the head from assault.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

Large right posterior parietal convexity lentiform high-density collection underlying a depressed skull fracture. Few small hemorrhagic contusions below the collection. Mild leftward midline shift. 

Case Discussion

Large traumatic epidural hematoma with depressed skull fracture and hemorrhagic contusions. Urgent attention by neurosurgery is indicated.
