Increased reticular markings throughout both lungs with a basal predominance.
The outline of the right side of the heart is indistinct due to the adjacent interstitial markings in the right middle lobe, giving a 'shaggy' outline.
Mild cardiomegaly.
Case Discussion
This patient had moderate pulmonary fibrosis (UIP).
