Presentation

Gastric symptoms. Refused esophagogastroduodenoscopy.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male
Barium

Large outpouching arising from the fundus of the stomach.

Normal duodenum.

Case Discussion

Gastric diverticula are less common than in the duodenum.  They typically arise from the fundus as in this case.

Similarly, this was an incidental finding, again which is usually the case.
