A single axial contrast-enhanced CT image through the upper abdomen demonstrates as a large retroperitoneal mass encasing the aorta and lifting it forwards. The kidney is displaced and does not demonstrate a claw sign.
Case Discussion
These features are typical of a large neuroblastoma, which classically envelop and displace vessels, something Wilms tumors do not.
