Describe your findings
Medial meniscus central third truncation, with a horizontal longitudinal tear of the posterior third which exits the tibial side of the medial meniscus. Anomalous insertion of the medial meniscus, which inserts onto the ACL. Full-thickness fissures and fraying of the median patella ridge articular cartilage with underlying subchondral marrow oedema.
The free edge of the medial meniscus central third is truncated, and there is a horizontal longitudinal tear of the posterior third which exits the tibial side of the medial meniscus.
Note is made of an anomalous insertion of the medial meniscus, which inserts onto the ACL.
Evidence of full-thickness fissures and fraying of the median patella ridge articular cartilage with underlying subchondral change.
