IUCD lying in the left side of the pelvis.
This is an atypical location, in the absence of uterine or other pelvic pathology causing displacement of the uterine cavity.

IUCD in the peritoneum of the anterior mid abdomen.
The IUCD has migrated from the uterine cavity and since the plain radiograph into the abdomen from the pelvis.
Bilateral parapelvic renal cysts.
Case Discussion
Uterine perforation and migration of an intrauterine coil is a rare, but recognized complication.
This coil was surgically retrieved without complication.
