The ulnar nerve is thickened and hyperintense from just proximal to the medial epicondyle through to its distal visualised course in the forearm. Within the cubital tunnel, the adjacent soft tissue is inflamed. No extrinsic compression is identified. Within the forearm, there is muscle belly oedema with flexor carpi ulnaris.
