Plain CT scan of orbits shows reduced density of left intraocular lens (48 HU) as compared to the right (90 HU) with indistinct outlines. No calcifications.
Contours of both eye-globes are maintained. Bony orbital walls are intact.
These features in the setting of prior recent trauma and reduced vision, are consistent with a traumatic cataract of the left eye.
