There is a well-circumscribed ovoid cystic mass of the right ovary measuring (10 x 9 x 8 cm ) of low signal on T1, high signal on T2 with hypointense sediment (blood products) and a hypodense wall (subacute stage with hemosiderin deposition at the wall). The postcontrast sequences show regular peripheral enhancement.
