2 day history of constipation, vomiting and abdominal pain.

Patient had acute kidney failure, therefore contrast couldn't be used.

A segment of the ileum protrudes through the obturator foramen and the herniated segment is trapped between the obturator externus and the pectineus muscles, causing small bowel obstruction.

Case Discussion

Findings are consistent with an incarcerated obturator hernia.
